Size:

12-18cm

Color:

Bright green in youth, maturing to a deep orange

Temperament:

Adventurous, playful

Tangerine Dragons have excellent camouflage and when coiled, they appear identical to ripe tangerines. They are quite brave and fond of sneaking into backpacks and lunch boxes in order to see more of the world.

They are very active and delighted by games, often damaging fruits in their enthusiasm.(You may notice slight bruising on your produce…)

The oils found in citrus peels are essential to their health and they like nothing better than to sleep nestled in peelings. If you are very clever, you can peel your fruits in one continuous piece, creating a perfect little nest for a Tangerine Dragon.
